Famous flagship wine of Nino Negri is produced from a selection of the best grapes and only in the best vintages.

The grapes, such as Nebbiolo (Chiavennasca), Pignola and Pinot Nero, from the Sassella sub-area, are vinified "in red" with a medium-long maceration.

Grapes such as Nebbiolo (Chiavennasca), Pignola and Pinot Nero, come from the smaller sub-area called Inferno: the local name attributed to the terraced vineyards that are particularly inaccessible and tiring to work.

Wine produced in an alpine environment using Nebbiolo grapes vinified in white. The geological origin of the land dates back to the collision between the African and European plates that gave rise to the Alps. The great variability of the resulting rocks give minerality and elegance.

Vigna Ca' Guicciardi has a bright ruby red color of good intensity, an intense aroma of ripe red fruit, with dominant notes of black cherry and currant, spices (licorice, cloves, cinnamon), dried violet; in the mouth the tannins are rich and enveloping, the result of maturation in a warm and bright environment.

The character of the parent rock strongly influences the characteristics of the wine starting from the brilliant ruby red color of great transparency tending slightly to garnet. The scent is reminiscent of small red fruit such as blackberry, currant, cherry and raspberry with fresh floral notes of violet and rose with a forest floor finish.
