The recent replanting with the arrangement of the rows in girapoggio constitutes an innovation in the viticulture of the valley. A high-class wine, obtained from pure Nebbiolo (Chiavennasca) grapes, harvested at the end of October when they are slightly overripe. Vinified “in red” with a short maceration, it completes the alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in French oak barriques, stopping there for 15 months. An aging in bottle of at least 6 months precedes its marketing.
