Medium-intense ruby color; the long aging process reveals distinct aromas of ripe red fruit alternating with classic spices like pepper, cinnamon, and cloves, as well as notes of licorice, mushroom, and hay. The palate is dry, with a dark fruit aftertaste, enveloping tannins well-balanced by a fresh acidity, and a long, savory finish.
