Cà dei Frati is a historic winery located in Lugana di Sirmione, on the shores of Lake Garda. Its origins date back to 1782, as attested by a document of the time. In 1939, Felice Dal Cero moved to the area, recognizing the high wine-growing vocation of the territory. After thirty years of work, in 1969, his son Pietro contributed to the birth of the DOC Lugana denomination, starting to bottle the first Lugana under the label "Casa dei Frati", later to become "Cà dei Frati". Today, the company is managed by the Dal Cero family, now in its fourth generation, and produces a range of wines that includes the famous Lugana, the red Ronchedone and Metodo Classico sparkling wines.

When tasted it fully manifests itself in all its complexity. The nose highlights hints of ripe fruit,...

Our grapes, so rich in fixed acidity, made us think about producing a classic method in line with those of the best Italian sparkling wine producers. We added 10% Chardonnay to the Turbiana to round out the youthful exuberance of the native vine. After a rest on the lees in the bottle for about 24 months, the sparkling wine comes to...
The Cuvée Rosè represents another jewel in the crown of our production. The idea of a pink sparkling wine was born at the table, thinking about the potential of the grapes already used in the production of Rosa dei Frati. The Cuvée Rosè is obtained after a rest on the lees for about 24 months during which it takes on both olfactory and gustatory complexity. Its perlage is very fine and its...
