Pian delle Vigne has a brilliant ruby red color. The nose is delicate and complex, with notes of ripe fruit, cherry and plum, in perfect harmony with those of dried fruit, candied fruit and spices. On the palate it is enveloping, with soft tannins and a good acidic vibration that enhances the aromas, giving an intense persistence and pleasantness. In the finish, hints of tobacco, bitter chocolate and wild berries emerge. An extremely elegant, fine wine with a good flavor.

The careful and careful selection of the grapes, carried out both in the vineyard and in the cellar, has guaranteed the arrival of perfectly intact grapes capable of expressing the unique character of a terroir like that of Montalcino. After careful de-stemming, the grapes were delicately crushed and transferred to steel tanks where they fermented. The wine remained in contact with its skins for about three weeks at a controlled temperature of about 28 °. Once in oak barrels, ranging in size from 30 to 80 Hl, it underwent malolactic fermentation and began the process of aging in wood. After about two years, the wine left the large barrel to move towards refining in the bottle in May 2016.
