Cinnabar is inspired by the color red, produced by the ancient Maya using the mineral stone cinnabar. Red is the color of Kinich Ahau, god of the sun. Legend has it that the sleeping woman interceded on behalf of the people of Cihuatàn so that the divinity sent her two hummingbirds, bearers of energy. The iguana, stylized on the label, is another well-known inhabitant of the valley, which can also be encountered near the distillery, especially on very hot days.
Organoleptic characteristics: plum, pistachio, toasted wood, fresh sugar cane juice, caramelized orange peel, ripe carambola (starfruit).
