Oltre Il DiLidia grappa is an aged grappa that comes from the careful assembly of local grappas, distilled with the traditional discontinuous method of steam current and expertly aged in Marsala barrels.
A tradition that is being renewed: the first woods used for the aging of our distillates were precisely those that arrived in the Fifties and Sixties at the Canelli Wineries from Sicily for the production of egg Marsala. Once emptied, the barrels could no longer be used for the refinement of other wines, so much were they impregnated with the aromatic notes of Marsala, hence the intuition of our mother Lidia, from Canellese Doc, to use them for the aging of distilled Grappas by her husband Paolo.
