The Merlot grape was planted in the Orgno vineyard in 1978, with the intention of exploring the potential of our terroir, traditionally suited to white wines, for a red grape variety. The initial results were thrilling: Merlot adapted surprisingly well to our area. However, we patiently waited ten years before introducing it to the market, ensuring it achieved the quality levels we sought.
COLOR: Intense ruby red.
BOUQUET: Notes of ripe red fruit, with light hints of leather, truffle and licorice.
TASTE: Pleasantly velvety, with great body and structure. A rich yet balanced Merlot, enveloping and vigorous.
