Production area: Alberello-trained vineyards (Latin vine) in the most suitable areas.
Vinification: The ripe grapes, after being de-stemmed and mashed, ferments for 12-14 days in stainless steel tanks at temperature. During fermentation it undergoes frequent pumping over to extract all the tannins, polyphenols and extracts.
Maturation: Following the malolactic fermentation, which is early and spontaneous, in early December the wine passes into second passage barriques for a short stay of 6 months. This is followed by an aging of 6 months in the bottle.
