It was 1958 when Francesco Dal Toso inherited the passion for distillation from his grandfather Sante and opened IDE (Industria Distillati Elaborati), a small company destined to become a market leader. 1984 saw the purchase of Distillerie Valbruna, a leading company in the production of alcoholates for pastry making.
In 1993 the last step for the creation of Antiche Distillerie Riunite was taken: the acquisition of the Rossi D'Asiago brand, producer of distillates since 1868 and inventor in 1924 of Kranebet, the white bitter of the plateau, based on juniper, gentian and absinthe.
