Canalicchio di Sopra, founded in 1962 in Montalcino, owns 60 hectares of land, 19 of which are cultivated with vineyards, in a UNESCO heritage area. The company, managed by three generations of the Pacenti-Ripaccioli family, is known for the production of Brunello di Montalcino and has contributed to the fame of the area, being one of the 12 founding brands of the Consorzio del Vino Brunello di Montalcino.
